Let the Satori experience start at the airport, with our pick-up service. Our driver will meet you (look out for your name on a board) and whisk you smoothly down to the villa in an air-conditioned minibus. Transfers cost $110 USD per van each way, transporting up to six guests.
Satori will take care of all your sheets and towels. If you have any further laundry needs our team will take your items to town and return them fresh and pressed. This is charged at local rate and taken from your kitty if required.
We have a number of reliable Tuk Tuk drivers who speak English and will give our guests good rates. Tuk Tuks take between 2 -3 people at a time – for larger groups our team can organise multiple Tuk Tuks or an air-conditioned van for up to 10 guests.
One of the great experiences in Sri Lanka is having clothing tailored for you at a fraction of western prices. Local markets offer quality fabrics that can be turned into stylish garments within days. We recommend packing favourite items of clothing to be copied. Ask our team for further details.
Internet & Phone
Buying a Sri Lankan sim card at the airport on arrival will cut your phone bill significantly. Cards cost $6 and you can usually drop them into any phone ready for use. Calls from a Sri Lankan mobile to anywhere in the world with this sim will cost around $0.40USD per minute. We have a steady 3G Internet connection at the villa. To get online ask our team to set you up.
We have an iPod docking station in the living room, as well as an impressive speaker system that fills the garden and pool area with a wide range of music from our iTunes library on the laptop.
Satori is completely secure for both guests and their belongings. There is always somebody at the property during the day and we have a security guard on the gate at night. The villa has a safe for your valuables.
